Our Mission

The Aaron Community Cultural Center (ACCC) works to empower individuals and families. We help people across all generations by providing education, job training, housing support, and food resources.

Whether in person or online, our goal is to give our community the tools they need to succeed and grow.

Honoring Major Andrew Aaron

ACCC was built to honor the legacy of Major Trooper Andrew Aaron, a dedicated Buffalo Soldier. Our vision is to preserve the history of the Buffalo Soldiers while helping the Los Angeles community.

We are proud to be recognized for our work in the community through various certificates of recognition and awards, reflecting our deep commitment to South Los Angeles.

Leonard H. Harlin

President

Leonard has over 20 years of experience as an educator and a leader. He is also a professional insurance broker. He is very passionate about helping seniors and has great skills in bringing people together.

Sherrie Ross

Vice President I

Sherrie is a licensed Social Worker with 14 years of experience. She is an expert in mental health services and trauma-informed care. She focuses on helping adults, women, and survivors of trauma.

Monica Ruelas

Vice President II

Monica is a business leader who helps people grow their social and emotional skills. She is the founder of Investor Palace, LLC and Moguls, LLC, and is dedicated to guiding others toward positive change.

Andrea Harlin

Secretary & Executive Director

Andrea has over 20 years of experience in education and psychotherapy. She is dedicated to supporting families with special needs. She has written books on how to make learning fun for children.

Executive Director

As our Executive Director, Andrea guides our organization with a clear vision and strong commitment to our mission. She oversees all programs, manages our finances, and builds our partnerships. Andrea's passion for empowering clients and fostering strong team leadership is what drives our growth and success.

CELESTE FRANCO

Pantry Coordinator

Celeste is the logistical backbone of our Food Pantry. She is responsible for organizing, picking up, and receiving all food donations and supplies. Her incredible organization skills ensure the pantry is always stocked and ready to serve.

Office Coordinator & Community Care Specialist

Ana's journey is a powerful example of our mission. After successfully completing an internship through the TSE Gain program, she joined our team part-time to ensure operations run smoothly and provide vital community support.
